I can't really put my finger on why yet but Stay (as in fans of stray kids) remind me so much of dsmp fans sometimes (particularly like in 2020-2021)
and I'm not sure if it's just that they're both irl fandoms and there's at least some overlap but I've never felt this way about Once (fans of Twice)
#sorry for talking about kpop on main#the one thing that mainly makes me think this for sure is when minsungers (shippers of lee know and han) are flooding the comments of every+#post that has their ship colors (pink and green) in it bc I've been there before!! there was not a single video with blue and green in it+#in 2020 and 2021 that didn't get an entire comment section full of 'dnf' (the ship of Dream and Georgenotfound)#I've also had other moments where I've thought this for sure tho#dsmp#dream smp#kpop#stray kids#skz#I suppose I am inviting kpop fans to tear me apart on this account now#hi I'm one of you don't kill me
